  Minor complaint... got snapped at by a staff person when I went to pick up my dumplings that had been heated (btw - they were yummy) ... because he didn’t realize I was there to pick up hot food & told me quite sharply, that I should be in the queue.

  Beautiful suburban cinema at Elsternwick from a bygone era. Has current release movies in comfortable cinema seating.

  My favourite local cinema. Parking can be a little tricky so give yourself extra time for that. So close to train station, cafes, restaurants. The cinema has a great range of food, wine, cocktails, hot food, plus all the classic movie food items like popcorn and choc tops.

  Next door to the cinema there is a hidden Melb treasure, it's a restaurant aptly named AFTER THE TEARS. It is a polish restaurant offering beautiful cuisine pre or post movies.

  Love the local vibe of the Classic. Grab yourself a quick bite to eat, a glass of wine or the regular choc top with popcorn...go the mega box you know you can eat it! Staff are always helpful and cleanliness assurred. A number of interesting film fests held annually.

  Despite the fact that the entertainment book app has a voucher offering buy one movie ticket get one free, upon arrival we were denied the free ticket. We were advised that this is because the offer is only available before 5pm. Nowhere in the entertainment book app does it state this. This is in clear breach of the Australian consumer law. Besides this, an offer of a free movie ticket before 5pm is extremely stingy and unlikely to be utilised by many people. I believe this is a ploy to attract customers while still extracting the maximum amount of money out of them. We drove quite a distance to go to this cinema but we won't bother in future. We will be telling as many people as possible about this and lodging a complaint with the entertainment book office. Very greedy behavior on the part of the cinema management.
